                                                                              (Septeber 29, 2009)

With Schure Racing having terrible luck in the past few months with motors expiring, Brandon finally got behind the wheel of the #16 car owned by Ken and Kyle McCutcheon. The night started with Brandon on the front row of the heat race where he drove off and when the checker flag finally fell Schure was ahead by a full straitaway. "The car felt great for being the first time in it. I am so happy to be back on the track and running, it feels great."

This put Brandon on the 2nd row of the feature line up for the last race of the Renegade Sprint Car series. As they went into turn one Brandon got stuck behind the 99 car of Chuck Jackson and lost a few spots early. As the race went on Brandon started clicking of some good laps and passing cars like John Carney Sr. and Sonny Holden. With 10 laps let the #16 car was in 3rd place and started running down second place runner Wes Wofford. As the laps winded down he got stuck behind the slower car of Shawn Sander and lost some ground. On the final lap Brandon followed Sander into turn 3 where the 8m car spun out. Schure avoided the spinning car as went through the infield losing only one spont to John Carney Jr. He would finally end up in the fourth spot. "First off I would like to thank Ken and Kyle (McCutcheon) for letting me drive there car tonight, I dont have enough words of how thankful I am for them. On the other hand this car ran great and everything felt like it should I am really happy to finish out like this. Now I have The Short Track Nationals to look foward to and I am realy excited about that." Brandon Commented. (July 18, 2009)
The Schure Racing stable had 2 races on the schedule this past weekend. The first of which came at El Paso Speedway Park in El Paso, Texas. Brandon started 3rd in the heat race and after a near pile up in turn one on the start Schure emerged in 2nd place and that is where he'd finish. This put him on the front row of the dash and Curt Barnett beat the #21 car to turn one and beat him to the checkered. As the 21 sprint cars lined up for the feature Brandon took the green flag in the 7th spot and was battling for Second place with Sager and Wofford when a lapped car almost spun out in front of him causing Brandon to go off the track. While both cars kept going this kept the green flag out and Brandon lost 5 positions. After it was all said and done Brandon Worked his was back up to the 6th spot.
Saturday saw the Renegade Sprints tow up to Las Cruces, New Mexico for the second race of the weekend. Here the #21 sprint car started in the 5th spot of a loaded heat race. When the green flag flew they went 3 and 4 wide in turn one going for the spot. When this wild heat race was over Brandon Made the inversion spot passing Mike Archuleta for the fourth spot on the last lap. In the feature Brandon was poised to line up in the 6th spot. As the race started he moved up to the fourth spot and was race hard for the third and second spot with Wofford and Sager once again. This is when disaster struck once again. "The motor just fell on it's face coming out of turn 2. It ran great all night and then it was like you flipped a switch. We've had ignition problems on and off all year and its getting frustrating, this has cost us 4 or 5 top 5s and we were in contention to win 3 of them. Hopefully we can find and fix this problem because we cant afford to keep falling out of races." Brandon Commented on his disappointment.
Brandon would like to thank all of his sponsors for there support including; Western Technical College, Kwik Car Wash, El Paso Powder Coating, Stafford Performance, MVT, Slater Designs, Premiere Signs and Graphics, Phoenix Custom Apparel Two Dot Tech and the recently announced Fatheadz Eyewear.

(July 11, 2009)
Brandon Schure and crew put the wing back on and headed for Las Cruces, New Mexico for another Renegade Sprint Car Series event Saturday. With 25 cars pulling into the gate Brandon was slated to start 4th in the first heat race. As they came out of turn four and dropped the hammer Schure was on a mission slipping into the second spot. He set his sights on the leader and came up just short of the heat race win.
In the feature Brandon was shown to start in the 7th spot. As the green flag dropped and the field went to the top of the track in turns 1 and 2, Brandon rolled the #21 sprint car right around the bottom of the race track getting into the fourth position. In two laps Schure moved into the 2nd spot and looked to run down last weeks winner, Wes Wofford, before a yellow flag came out. When they got back to racing he wasted no time going for the top spot and passed the #19 car on the bottom of the race track tp take the lead. Schure would lead the next 12 laps before getting challenged in lapped traffic. As they battled through traffic Brandon Schure, Lorne Wofford and John Carney Jr. looked to be the class of the field. With 8 to go Schure and Wofford split a lap car with the #518 car taking the top spot. After a hard fought race with the #3s of  Carney, Brandon finally crossed the line in 2nd place. "Man we had a great car tonight. For a little while I thought we might win the thing but Wofford out did me in traffic. He is such a great racer and I enjoy racing with him. Man I sure can't wait to get a win we are getting closer and making some big strides towards doing so" , Brandon commented after the race.

(July 3 & 4, 2009)
It was Fourth of July weekend and the Schure Racing Team headed off to the track for two days of racing. The first of which came with the Renegade Sprint Car Series at EL Paso Speedway Park. Brandon started the heat race from the 3rd spot and when the checkered flag fell he had lost one position, but still remained in the important inversion position. As the 21 sprint cars rolled 4 wide down the front stretch Brandon put the #21 sprint car in the 5th place to start the race. As the green flag dropped all of the cars went into turn one smoothly including Brandon, who came off of turn number 2 in 3rd place. One lap later Schure passed the #52 car for the second spot and looked to run down Wes Wofford. As the top 5 went through traffic nose to tail Brandon once again came up on the #52 machine and got cut off allowing Sander and Loren Wofford by him. When the checkered flag finally flew Brandon ended up in the 6th spot. "I'm kinda disappointed where we finished. We had a top 3 car and got screwed up in traffic and that hurt us."
Saturday, the crew took the wings off and headed to White Sands Speedway for the NMMRA non wing race. This series is an open motor rule with most of the cars having a 360 or a 410 cubic inch motor. With the weather looking not so great they decided to keep the 305 in and this was like bringing a knife to a gun fight or so we thought. The heat race saw Brandon rolling the cushion in front of Scott Box, creating a straight away advantage and a heat race win. Being in the top 8 in passing points, Brandon drew for his position in the feature, which proved to be bad as he pulled out the #8 pill. As the green flag fell Brandon went right through the middle in the first corner and made it stick picking off a couple spots. Throughout the whole race Brandon passed several good cars including, Bo Baker, Rick Johnson and Jon Taylor. As the laps were winding down Schure, Box and Baker put on a great show racing each other. As the checkered fell Brandon showed an impressive 4th place finish against motors that had 200 more horsepower. "We were very good all night. The car drove perfect and we had a lot of forward bite coming off of the corner. I love running this non wing stuff, it fits my driving style and I hope to do a little more in the future."
Brandon would like to thank all of his sponsors for there support including; Western Technical College, Kwik Car Wash, El Paso Powder Coating, Stafford Performance, MVT, Slater Designs, Premiere Signs and Graphics, Phoenix Custom Apparel and Two Dot Tech.

(June 27, 2009)
After coming off its 5th top 5 of the year Brandon Schure and the team drove to Tulorosa, New Mexico to race and the newly renovated White Sands Speedway. The Schure Racing #21 sprint car would start 4th in the heat race with some heavy hitters all around him. As the green flag dropped Brandon got on the throttle pedal and drove by Kyle McCouteon down the front stretch and slid up infront of John Carney Sr. coming out of turn 2. Brandon then set his sights on Robert Herrera for the win but came up just short as Brandon ran out of laps to pass the #9 car.
Next Brandon started on the pole of the dash with Loren Wofford right next to them. The two went into the first turn side by side as Brandon slid infront of him going down the back stretch, but Wofford cut back down passing the #21 car dwon the front straightaway. That was all she wrote as Wofford would take the dash and Brandon would run 2nd.
In the feature the Schure Racing team would draw number four and start in the fourth position. Brandon would run 3rd for more than half of the race asthe top four would battle through traffic. This saw Brandon and Kyle Battle hard through traffic going back and fourth switching from the bottem to the top almost every lap. finally after racing side by side for numerous laps the #5 car would finally get the position. When the checker flag finally flew after 30 non stop laps the #21 sprint car was counted for 4th place and its second strait top five finishsh and 6th of the season. "We had a really good car all bight. Here latley we have changed some things on the car and it has been just great. This Maxim car is handling great and the Stafford Proformance Enigine is hitting on all eight cylinders."   Next will see Brandon racing inEl Paso pn friday night and the team has not made up its mind on where they will be racing on Saturday. It will either be going back to Withe Sands Speedway for the NMMRA non wing event, ASCS Southwest race at USA Raceway Park in Tuscon or San Angelo for a $1000 to win 305 race. Brandon would like to thank all of his sponsors for there support including; Western Technical College, Kwik Car Wash, El Paso Powder Coating, Stafford Performance, MVT, Slater Designs, Premiere Signs and Graphics, Pheonix Custom Apparel and Two Dot Tech.

(June 20 & 21, 2009)

Schure Racing had two race nights on its schedule this weekend including El Paso Speedway Park on friday and Southern New Mexico Speedway on Saturday. Friday night started out well for the #21 sprinter with a 2nd place finish in the heat race, where he stared in the 4th position. With the Renegade Sprint Series lining up by point average, Brandon Would be put  in the sixth starting spot for the 30 lap feature. As the green flag dropped Brandon pulled into the 3rd position right behind John Carney Sr. as they battled for most of the race. Slicing back and forth through traffic they swapped the 2nd position several times. Then tragedy stuck again for the Schure Racing team as they were going down the front strait away there motor went flat and lost two or three cylinders. Brandon remarked, "We have made a few changes with the car here at this track and we have been so fast. The past two weeks we have been running 2nd here with only a few laps left and came out with nothing to show for it and its disapointing."

After they went back to the shop and changed the mag and ignition box they then travelled an hour to Las Cruces, New Mexico. Brandon was put in the second heat and just drove away from the compition taking the win. Brandon was then slated to start fourth in the Renegade Sprint Car feature. As the green flag dropped he rolled into 3rd place racing with the veteran Sonny Holden and Curt Barnett. As the race went on and no yellows were thrown the race for the top five got real good as everyone was going back and forth for position. After the 30 laps of non stop green flag action Brandon put the # 21 Sprint Car in a well deserved and needed 5th place finish.  " We really needed a finish like that. I am kicking myself right now cause I know we had a 3rd place car but I didnt get through traffic real well and lost a few spots. I feel that the car is getting better and better every night and I am happy with how my dad and Brady are giving me a top 5 every night." Brandon would like to thank all of his sponsors for there support including; Western Technical College, Kwik Car Wash, El Paso Powder Coating, Stafford Performance, MVT, Slater Designs, Premiere Signs and Graphics, Pheonix Custom Apparel and Two Dot Tech.

(June 13, 2009)
20 cars and great racing weather had a great start to what had a great night of racing in store. After some bad luck last week at Southern New Mexico Speedway, Brandon would try his luck at El Paso Speedway Park. As the second heat race rolled out on the track Brandon was shown starting 4th out of seven cars. at the drop of the green flag the #21 sprinter would follow Curt Barnett around the top of the race track hammering the cushion. the 8 lap heat race didn't have a lead change but was a great run between Barnett, Schure and Royal Jones. Finishing second in the heat race put Brandon on the front row of the Dash for Cash. Kyle Sager beat Brandon to the first turn and stayed there for the entire race. "We had been good all night up to that pooint and we wernt bad in the dash, we just got a bad start and then could not get back by him. We are going to get this thing rolling for the feature and put on a great show for the fans." Brandon Quoted.
As the Renegade Sprint Cars went 4 wide for the crowd all 20 drivers were ready to stand on the gas for the 30 lap feature. As Brandon started 6th when the green flag fell he wasted no time going to the front. Coming out of turn 2 Brandon was already running 3rd and going after Bob Miller for the 2nd spot, which he got the next lap. "On the start everyone went to the bottom and left the top wide open so I took it and it stuck", Brandon commented on the first lap. As the laps went on Brandon started to pressure Curt Barnett for the top spot as they both sliced and diced through lap traffic. With 11 laps to go Brandon was on the back bumper of the #43 sprinter looking to get by him when the motor started to lay down in the Schure Racing #21 Sprint Car. As the laps went on the motor started getting worse and worse and the car was getting tighter and tighter. after 3 laps of this Brandon finally jumped the cushion and hit the wall coming out of turn 4. Seeing the motors temperature rising Brandon pulled the car in the pits and was done for the night. "We were so good tonight and we had a great chance to win this race I am so disappointed in the outcome. We have had a few bad weeks and we really need a good run. We are working hard to turn around our luck and we will keep plugging away."
Brandon would like to thank all of his sponsors for there support including; Western Technical College, Kwik Car Wash, El Paso Powder Coating, Stafford Performance, MVT, Slater Designs, Premiere Signs and Graphics and Pheonix Custom Apparel.

(June 6, 2009)
Brandon and the Schure Racing crew had high hopes going into Saturday nights race at Southern New Mexico Speedway in Las Cruces, New Mexico. The #21 sprint car was slated to start on the second row inside of the first heat with the top 3 making the inversion for the feature. Brandon Got a real good start getting underneath the #444 car of Hardison. As he slid up in front of him John Carney Jr. and Brandon put on a good race coming out of turn two slightly getting together with Carney taking the spot. Once the first lap was over Brandon was running fourth and stayed there the rest of the race. "Our car was good in the heat race, we just had a bad break coming out of two when me and Johnny got together and by the time I got it all situated I lost another spot" Brandon commented.
The feature had Brandon Starting in the 13th position and he had hiscar moving foward and working good. Halfway through the race Schure's car was battling Kyle McCuteon for the 7th spot with a great race going on between the two. They sliced and diced through lap traffic up unitil kyle and Harrdison got together spinning the #444 maching right in front of Brandon, who had no where to go and hit him and tipped over ending the Schure Racing #21's night. Brandon went to say " We had a really good car early, Brady and my dad did a lot of work to get the changes we wanted to make for the feature. We had the thing hooked up and when it took rubber we got tighter and tighter. I feel like we had a top 5 car all night long. I got screwed up in the heat race and we had to fight back all night from that one lap. I am proud of all of my guys for there hard work and I hope to reward them with a better finish next week."  Brandon would like to thank all of his sponsors for there support including; Western Technical College, Kwik Car Wash, El Paso Powder Coating, Stafford Performance, MVT, Slater Designs, Premiere Signs and Grahpics and Pheonix Custom Apperal.

(May 23, 2009)
With rain washing out the first race of the memorial day weekend, the Schure Racing #21 team unloaded at Southern New Mexico Speedway for another sot at the track Brandon had no luck in at the first visit. With a bad point average Brandon started on the pole of his heat race. He lost the drag race to turn one with Curt Barrnett but followed him closley the whole race and ended up finishing in an inversion position.
With the feild of 23 cars ready to go at it for 30 laps, this showed Brandon on the pole for the main. The #21 sprint car, unlike in the heat race, won the drag race to turn one and set his sites to turn three and four. Brandon led for 12 laps slicing and dicing with Mike Archuleta in traffic for the lead. on lap 14 Brandon went to the low side of a lap car and had to check up opening the door for Archuleta. "I tried runnning it in as hard as I could and the car in front of me chopped me and I had no where to go so I had to let off" Brandon said. Brandon fought and fought throughout the race with Kyle McCoucheon, John Carney Jr and Kyle Sager for the top four spots and when the Checker flag fell it saw Brandon with his second top five in a row. "Im real happy with how the night went. We were good early on in the feautre and as the race went on we got looser and looser. We are making huge strides with our program and we are learning a lot and finishing races up front, thats all you can ask for." Schure Racing will now head to White Sands Speedway in Tulorosa New Mexico for the first time in 2009. Brandon would like to thatnk all of his sponsors for there support including; Western Technical College, Kwik Car Wash, El Paso Powder Coating, Stafford Performance, MVT, Slater Designs, Premiere Signs and Grahpics and Pheonix Custom Apperal.

(May 16th, 2009)

As some of you might know last night Brandon went into turn one and bicycled real hard and came back down on all four wheels. As the car came down on all fours the frame rail bottemed out and we are thinking the rear end hit the seat at some point and knocked the wind out of Brandon. He then left the track to go get checked out. This morning he is very sore but is doing a lot better than he was feeling last night. Schure Racing would like to thank everytbody for there concern and we will see everybody in EL Paso Next friday night.

(May 8, 2009 First top five of Season)
With 2009 not having a great start to the first two races, Brandon had another chance to redeem his self Friday Night at El Paso Speedway Park. Brandon is tenth in the season points which put him in the second row of his heat race. As the green flag dropped the 21 Westen Technical Sprint Car motored around the ery top of the race track passing Don Grable and Kyle Sager. Brandon ran down Billy Roy Harris with only a few laps left and never got a chance to get by him, giving him a 2nd place heat race finish and a inversion spot for the feature.
As they lined up 3 wide behind the D&S Road Service pace truck the crowd rose to there feet and cheered for the 24 sprint cars that were ready to do battle. The #21 sprint car started 6th and in 5 laps was up to 3rd and looking real good behind the wheel. As the laps wound down the yellow bullet started getting loose and lost a postion to John Carney Jr. When the checkered flag finally flew Brandon was scored in 5th with his first top 5 of the season. Brandon Commented on the race, " The last couple of weeks we could not get the car going on these slick races and we havent looked very good. We finally went to our notes from seasons past and worked really hard on our two weeks off to get the car running better, this was a great finish but we still have some work to do to get where we want to be." Schure Racing would like to thank all of there fans for the support and ihope to see everyone May 16th and Southern New Mexico Speedway in Las Cruces, New Mexico.

 (April 24, 2009)

Schure Racing rolled the Western Technical College, El Paso Powder Coating, Kwik Car Wash, MVT sprint car out of the shop and put it in the newley renovated truck and trailer in sights of the first race of the year. After a long winter of blood, sweat and tears Brandon and the rest of the team were ready to get back on the track. The heat race saw some motor troubles which found out to be a plugged nozzle and some bad luck right out of the gate. This put Brandon in the back of the staring line up in the feature (Started 19th). When the Green flag dropped Brandon made moves through the field passing one car at a time. Halfway through the race he passed Ceaser Fuentes and had his sights set on Mike Wells as he drove down the back strait. As he entered turn three Brandon had built up to much speed getting in the corner that he rolled the right rear off the track breifly losing a few spots. When it was all said and done Brandon was tallied in a respectible 10th place finish. " We had some ups and downs the first race of the season but at least we went foward in the feature" Said the young man from El Paso Texas, "The Stafford motor ran great and the car was pretty good and we cant wait to get back in the grove of racing weekly". Schure Racing would like to thank you  all the fans coming to the races and keep looking at the site for more updates.
